Unity Christian senior Jilli Bajema was recently honored by being chosen as an Illinois State Scholar. 

This award is only given to the top ten percent of Illinois seniors based on their class rank and performance on the ACT/SAT.  While no money is attached to the recognition, it gives students an added edge when applying to colleges. In addition to her test scores, Jilli has been the recipient of the Presidential Academic Award every year in high school.  She has also received acknowledgement in several classes, including Outstanding Achievement in Biblical Sculpture and Outstanding Achievement in Painting and received awards for excellence in U.S. History and Advanced Algebra.  Jilli attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY), Youth 2 Washington Tour (sponsored by JoCarroll Energy Co-op, and Illini girls’ State (Outstanding Citizen Award).  She is currently serving as vice president of the senior class.  Congratulations, Jilli, on your hard work!

Soccer
Unity Soccer traveled to Faith Christian for the
NICC tournament.
They defeated Quad Cities Christian and then fell to
Faith and Cornerstone to take 4th in the tournament.
All conference award winners were
2nd team- Jonathan Rasmussen and
 1st team- Collin Willoughby
Way to go!
 

Volleyball
Unity Lady Knights headed into the
NICC tournament with an
undefeated conference record and the #1 seed.
They defeated Quad Cities and Faith
to take home the tournament championship. 
Way to go!

1st Team- Erin Wessels and Hannah Dykstra
