Student Council

Encouraging/Training Servant Leaders for the Future

Students in grades 9-12 (High School) may participate in Student Council. Unity Christian Student Council exists to give students at Unity the opportunity to facilitate Christian leadership skills in their lives.

Student Council consists of 2 representatives selected from each grade level (grades 9-12) and includes a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Together they plan and implement organized student activities, promote and encourage students to participate in student activities, and provide a voice in the recommendation and formation of policy as they relate to the student code of conduct at Unity.

Student Council members plan and execute many activities throughout the year including, but not limited to: Fall Retreat, See You at the Pole, Thanksgiving/Christmas Project, Christmas Tree/Decorations, Christmas Brunch, Homecoming Activities, Blood Drives, and upkeep Pop Machines.

Under the guidance of their advisor, Student Council members are given the ability to lead students through servant leadership, exhibiting and implementing such Christian character qualities as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 4:22).
