Teaching Opportunity for 2012-2013
Unity Christian School (PreK-12) in Fulton, Illinois, has a full-time 5th and 6th combined classroom position available for the 2012-13 school year. Several years of successful experience at this grade level is required. This candidate should have strong classroom management and instructional skills and be able to work cooperatively and progressively with peers. Salary – Benefits Information
This position is based on a 12 month contract which runs during the fiscal year from July 1 to June 30. Unity provides a CSI scale salary package that includes benefits in continuing education, health insurance (single and family), and a CSI pension program. Sick days, a personal day and financial support for continuing education, especially for advanced degrees from Christian colleges and universities, are included.
Candidates must be able to model a vibrant Christian faith, demonstrate teaching excellence, be able to develop a close relationship with students and their families, and be able to make Gospel values an integral part of school life.
We are also striving to create a rigorous "Christian worldview" perspective that provides the basis for our entire philosophy of education. Applicants with a comprehensive Biblical "worldview" may be especially equipped for this position.
