Psalm 107:1 – “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
As Thanksgiving approaches, we naturally think about gratitude – family gatherings, shared meals, and counting our blessings. But as followers of Christ, our thanksgiving goes deeper than a single day or a list of good things. It is a posture of the heart – a continual recognition of God’s goodness, faithfulness, and sovereign hand in all things.
True thanksgiving isn’t based on our circumstances but on our Savior. Even when life feels uncertain or difficult, we can still proclaim, “The Lord is good.” His love does not change with the seasons or depend on what we have. Instead, it is steadfast and enduring – worthy of our praise every day.
This Thanksgiving, let’s pause not only to thank God for what He has given but also for who He is. Let our celebrations be filled with joy, worship, and a spirit of generosity that reflects His heart. When we live with gratitude, we testify to the world that Christ is our greatest gift.
For HIS Glory,
