Severe Weather Information |
We in the Midwest need to be alert and ready to deal with winter weather whenever it reaches us. If we need to have a school cancellation, late start or early dismissal, we will notify the following radio stations. WDLM 89.3 FM; WCCI 100.3 FM; KROS 1340 AM; WSDR 1240 AM; and KCLN 1390 AM and TV stations KWQC Channel 6, and WQAD Channel 8, and WHBF Channel 4. Please listen to or watch these stations if you have questions about the weather. When school is cancelled for the day, we will try to have the information aired by 6:30. Please do not call school or any school personnel for information. In case of an early dismissal, please be sure your children know what they are to do. It works best if you have discussed it in advance and they know the plans you have made.
