What a way to kick off a great school year!
August 23rd and 24th were a couple of dates that the 87 Junior and Senior High school students won’t forget too soon. Screams and squeals were the word of the day during the biggest game of duck-duck goose and musical chairs ever played! Some of the outdoor games had to be changed to indoor games because of the severe thunderstorm on Thursday, but it did not hamper the fun and craziness. Our speaker, Mr. Craig Rolinger gave a great message about Jonah and the F.I.S.H. The high school kids still got to slip and slide on the soaped-up tarp down the hill. The ropes course was cancelled for the Junior high kids, but the marshmallow dodge ball, and steal-the-bacon game made up for it.
