To: Parents of the J.H. Basketball Teams

Re: Wisconsin Tournament

We will be attending the District IV Christian School Tournament in Wisconsin on Feb. 17^th and 18^th again this year. This is a 7/8^th grade basketball tournament. Students will have the opportunity to meet other Christian Students and families, begin new friendships, and rekindle old friendships by staying with host families. This tournament has been providing host families for over 20 years and the intent of the tournament is for this reason: to meet other Christian families for friendship and fellowship.

It is our hope that ALL players stay with host families. Therefore I am asking that you prayerfully consider having your child participate in this. They will be paired up with a teammate and assigned a family. What an awesome experience this could be for your child. If you do have any questions, please contact me or Mr. Ritzema.

Information about meals and the tournament schedule will be sent at a later time.

Coach VanderEide has 12 rooms blocked for parents at the Sleep Inn.

Rooms are $85 a night plus tax. Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 11am.

Please let your coach or myself know if your child will not be attending this tournament and what your plans are for the family. The tournament is being held in Oostburg and Sheboygan this year. Friday’s games will be in Oostburg.
