Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC)
This State Scholar program recognizes Illinois high school students for outstanding academic achievement. Selection is based primarily on SAT1 or ACT test score results and/or the students' class rank at the end of their junior year. Students receiving this award rank in the top 10% of 139,500 graduating seniors in the State of Illinois. While there is no scholarship awarded to Illinois State Scholars, honorees may receive scholarship offers from colleges or universities as a result of this accomplishment.
