Wow! Another summer gone by so quickly! Can you believe that it's time for another year of school to begin? Me either, but here we are ready to go on this journey together.
My summer was busier than I thought it was going to be. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand in mid-June. Because I had surgery, I wasn't able to go to Dordt for my second year of Grad School, but did take an Educational Technology class online and am going to implementing some of the things I learned in that class. My hand is still recovering, but the tingles have gone away and the pain is gone for the most part. I spent a lot of time in Chicago to be with my dad since he is not in good health. Between Chicago travels, some time in Michigan at my family's summer home, my PartyLite business, and my online class, the summer has flown right by me. I would stop at Unity every-so-often to check out the new Art room progress which has affected the way my room is set up - if you haven't seen it, you should really come by and take a look. It's great to see that the Art program has expanded so greatly that a new room was needed. God is certainly good throughout all the construction madness!
I'm really excited to be entrusted with your children once again. There are going to be some changes and some things the same, but this year is going to be exciting! I can't wait to see what our students will do this year with the minds that God blessed them with!
As always, if you have any questions, comments, conerns, or praises, please do not hesitate to talk with me about it!
