Unity Christian is excited to be a qualified charity in the Birdies For Charity Program.  This program has been a successful event for several years now and is organized through the John Deere Classic Golf Tournament each year.  With your help, this will be a win-win event for our school!

Here's how it works.  Simply pledge one penny or more for each birdie to be made during the John Deere Classic on one of Unity's Birdies Pledge Forms.  Send your pledge form to the school (either office) and then wait for the golf tournament to take place.

After the tournament, you will receive a notice in the mail directly from the Birdies For Charity organization of your pledged amount due.  Last year, 1,879 birdies were made during the Golf Classic, with one cent pledged, that would be a donation of $18.79; ten cents = $187.90.  So you can see how easy this is.

All pledges are tax-deductible and 100% of the amount collected goes to the school, not to the golf pros or the golf tournament.  We are a qualified charity.  The John Deere Classic Charitable Corporation will match a percentage of our pledged amount up to $10,000.00 for all pledge money that is received by the date noted on the Birdies invoice you will receive.

When you chip in to help Unity through the Birdies Program, you might also win some great prizes, too.
